Robinhood Wallet To Support Arbitrum

Robinhood announced that its non-custodial wallet is set to integrate swaps on the Arbitrum One network. The move aims to provide low-cost and high-speed transaction capabilities to over 2 million Robinhood Wallet users. The wallet currently supports assets across Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, and Base. While the activation is not live, it is anticipated to roll out in the coming months. Robinhood is a leading stock, ETF, options, and cryptocurrency trading service provider. Arbitrum One, developed by Offchain Labs, stands as the leading optimistic rollup L2 network, boasting the highest TVL of more than $13 billion.

Coinbase Introduces Smart Wallets

Coinbase introduced smart wallet support within the Coinbase Wallet SDK, enabling developers to seamlessly integrate instant wallet creation into their dapps requiring only a passkey. The solution eliminates the need for seed phrases and allows users to use their assets across any dapp integrated with the Coinbase Wallet SDK. The feature is live on the Base Sepolia testnet. Coinbase Wallet as a Service (WaaS) allows developers to design embedded wallets with web2 login methods such as email or social login. Coinbase is providing gas credits through Coinbase Cloud to developers who are building smart wallet integrations and infrastructure.

Blast Goes Live On Mainnet

Blast, an EVM-compatible optimistic rollup offering native yield, has officially launched on mainnet. The milestone unlocks assets worth $2.3 billion, previously deposited by early adopters farming for Blast Points. Users can now add the Blast Mainnet RPC to their wallets to migrate their deposited assets to the L2 network. Blast also announced new incentives for users who bridge to Blast Mainnet and engage with dapps on the rollup. However, the Blast Points airdrop cannot be claimed until the TGE event in Q2 of this year. Applications now live on Blast Mainnet include Bebop, Zora, Relay, Rhino.fi, ZeroLend and Ambient Finance.

Starknet Introduces Stwo Prover

Starknet introduced Stwo, an open-source prover implementing the Circle STARK protocol.  Stwo improves proof performance, making it more efficient and versatile, and will be compatible with the Cairo code of Sierra. The advancement allows for the use of a highly efficient prime field called M31, which was previously incompatible due to mathematical constraints. The end result is faster and cheaper transactions for users and improved scalability for applications. Starknet is Starkware’s permissionless ZK-Rollup-based L2.
